Happy birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday! My late 20's birthday. Okay! It's my last 20's birthday.

Nothing much of surprises or celebrations anymore when we are getting older which not used to be like at college. However, I still have my lovely colleagues celebrated my birthday during lunch time. It's great to have such close and understanding colleagues in the company even not all of the colleagues are so keen for you. Rare but true is most important amongst them. I love them so much!

Receiving greetings from those true friends who never forget your birthday without any notifications from the facebook or so called:" birthday alarm" was really grateful. I will always appreaciate these friends and loving them all the time. Thanks guys!

Even though, i had a bad day before lunch which did spoil my birthday mood, but after all, everything has been fine especially after the dinner session with my mom and had a late movie session after a long while ago.

Well, my wish for birthday, of course, stay healthy and recover fully from all the sickness i have right now, wishing my family all the same and this year, I'm wishing to get higher accomplishment in work eith I quit and look for a better job, or appreciation got from my current company or even I could work at overseas such as Australia or New Zealand. Aim of the year!

Happy New Year 2014!

Happy New Year 2014!!!! 

Today is the first day of work for the year of 2014. What to hope for this year? For sure, good health and happy always. Yea, I'm going to ask for salary increment! Pray hard for that and hope for a great increment. For us as a Chinese, that's mean Chinese New Year is also getting nearer, just a month to go. Well, must be pray hard for more bonuses! lolxxx...Normal wish, right? But, realistic! 

Anyway, I do hope I could recruit an assistant to work with me to reduce the burden in works rather than I rush all the things all by my own. 

And, hope my family members are always stay healthy and happy especially my parents. I'm spending all my time to accompany them whenever I could. Wish my sister will get a baby soon by this year so that I can be an aunt and buy lots of baby stuffs for her! I'm desperately want to shop for baby goodies! 

Last but not least, I want to work at overseas. Hope that I could get a good and stable job out there soon!

Start on a new section of life - Baking~~

I had been started on my baking early of this year. Of course there are failures at first and keep improving from time to time being. The cakes i baked, erm... perhaps i should use the work steamed? Because all the cakes are steamed cakes. Yes! Steamed not baked in the oven.

This was the first cake i baked by using the rice cooker which I had seen a friend baked it this way when i was studying at UK. However, being the first time, it was a total failure. It was just a cooked flour. lolxxx....

While, then onwards, i tried on with the steamed cake recipes. I finally succeed with the chocolate sponge cake. But i still thought it was not perfect since it wasn't sponge enough. From then, i keep on trying with others recipes. Tried and tried, threw or eaten.

I'm so enjoying during the process in baking a cake. I was envy to my aunt when i was young, because she knew to bake lots of different flavoured and decorated cakes. Now even myself can make it. But I'm still at the beginning stage in the baking experience. Still have to gone through more and more to get expert. Maybe i should try on decorating the cakes now. ^^

Saturday_Working day~

I have to work on Saturdays. I don't mind that. Since Saturday always is a peaceful day that less phone calls to make or to receive from, so I can quietly to my paperworks which unable to finish off during weekdays. Besides, I can clean up my desk so efficiently even though it will become a mess again from next Monday onwards. It's not that I don't want to keep my desk clean and clear, but there is no time for me to do such works. That's why my desk will keep on stacked with documents, catalgoues and etc.

After done my filing and cleaning works, now i feel so refresh and glad to work now. But opppsss....it's going to knock off. Happy Saturday!

Go green!

Today went to attend a half day seminar at The Pacific Sutera, Sutera Harbour regarding the building energy efficiency. Now it's has become a trend in Malaysia to implement green concepts or building energy efficiency on all the new and old buildings. We are relatively slow in implementing comparing to others countries even to our neighbour country, Singapore due to different country policies imposed. There are many countries nowadays are enforcing the builders or any others professionals and specialists involve in building industry with law to practise the green construction. 

However, the awareness of this amongst the citizens of Malaysia is respectively low. This can be seen by the usage of the 2 main utilities: water and electricity. For them, water bills are cheap and affordable by everyone so they can simply wasting the water which do not affecting much on their wallets same apply to the electricity. 

But then, hopefully from the announcement made by the Energy Commission that the tariff of electricity will be increased up to 16% from 1st of January 2014, people will starts to aware in saving energy and thus save the world itself. 

Human always love to learn from mistakes. They rather do correction than in prevention. In fact, prevention will shorten the way and the time. But, people never realises this. Until the mother earth is crying and showing hers power, human will just start on how to reduce the impact to the earth, energy savings and green etc. 

By taking a small step by each person in the world, will resulting a big impact for the mother earth. Do appreciate people aware of the crisis we are having together with our mother earth and starts on implementing good habits, motivate and influence others to take the initiative move. 

Love the earth, love the world, love to everyone and our next generation!  

Daily life @ 9th December 2013

Time flies which you will never realise until to the end of the year when Christmas songs, Christmas events all over the places reminding you: "Yes! It's Christmas! And, year end soon!" Only by then, I just realise that year of 2013 is almost to an end. And, I had abandoned my blog for more than a year!

For sure, there are many things had happened over the year. With happiness. With sadness. There are too many things to tell with. Perhaps I will tell one by one in future posts. Hope that i'm not going to abandon here anymore. lolxxx...

Osaka Cake & Osaka Durian Cake (大阪ケーキーと大阪ドリアンケーキー)

Recently, my mom had encountered a bakery shop nearby Kian Kok Secondary School which just next to the Tai Seng Supermarket. Actually, this bakery shop was recommended to my mom by hers friends. Many of hers friends are buying the breads here which is so freshly baked and with soft texture of it. Even I found out last week that my colleague also used to buy bread from this bakery shop. Her children like it so much!

During weekdays, this area is super crowded and really difficult to look for a carpark and have a look at this bakery shop. Well, this bakery shop is not opening during Sundays but opens during public holidays.Yesterday was Malaysia public holidays. That's why I finally grabbed this chance to have a glance at this small bakery shop.

In fact, the shop name is Ur Way's Cafe which is also serving some drinks or desserts for the customers. There are a lots of students to gather here during weekdays for their desserts and bread as well.

Alright, back to the main focus! I was wondering around of their cake display units. Then, there is a sudden of eye catching cake's name that took all of my focus: Osaka Cake! I do admit that recently I was totally addicted to anything that is related to Japan due to the language course that I'm having. That's why just in a glimpse, I fall in love with these Osaka Cake & Osaka Durian.

In reality that, I seldom touch on those cake with icing sugar on top just because I really don't favour in sweet flavours food. What i normally will think of those cakes with icing sugar decorations is that :" Oh no! This cake should be very sweet in flavour. I don't dare to try on it!" However, these Osaka cakes broke the normal thinking way of mine. Without dragging any of the seconds,  I asked the shopkeeper to pack for me each of them. Besides, I also took a shepherd chicken pie to have a try on it. I was all seduced by the pies just because in that morning I watched the programme of AFC food truck: pies. Slyrrrrppppp...... I was beaten by all the seduction. Mom! How am I going to diet with the looking delicious food just in front of me! >"<

Okay! Back to home! Time to reveal the taste of my food especially for those Osaka Cakes.

Yummy!!! Especially the Osaka Durian Cake!!! Both cakes are with custard filling just the difference is that the Osaka Duran Cake with durian flavour custard filling while Osaka Cake with the normal custard filling. Yum! Yum! The outer layer of the cake is baked until a little crispy. "Crunch! Crunch!" sounded when try to scoop for a bite with a spoon provided. The durian custard filling Osaka Durian Cake is the awesome one. I did not smell much of the durian but once the custard was filled in my mouth, wow!!!!, the taste of the durian was so strong and delicious! I was so regret at that time that just bought one of each. Never mind! I know I will be going again soon and grab for them. The more you buy, the cheaper they are. ^^ But don't over buy, if can't finish will be a great waste , while if forcefully finish them all, will need to beware of the increment of body weight and others consequences. LOLxxx... Overall, won't regret to have a try on these. Great one!
